BNP Co-International Secretary and Member of Parliament Barrister Rumin Farhana has announced his resignation from the Jatiya Sangsad in his speech at the Dhaka Golapbagh BNP General Assembly.
On Saturday, December 10, 2022, he announced his resignation when he came to deliver a speech at a BNP rally in Dhaka Division demanding the release of leaders and activists arrested in false cases including disappearances, murders, and price increases of daily commodities.
He demanded the release of Bangladesh Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia. He demanded the release of BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakrul Islam Alamgir, and Mirza Abbas, and national elections under a non-partisan neutral government.
